Christine L. Cain, DVM, Diplomate ACVD, is assistant professor of dermatology and allergy at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Cain's clinical interests include management of allergic, immune-mediated, and infectious skin diseases. Her research is primarily focused on infectious disease and antimicrobial resistance, particularly staphylococcal antimicrobial resistance. Dr. Cain received her DVM from Ohio State University and completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, followed by a residency in dermatology at University of Pennsylvania.
